More stuff

I recently discovered the program Sketchbook Pro and have totally fallen in love with it. Give it a try.

Here's some caricatures I did from late night TV watching:

I really gotta move away from Pete Emslie's style. It's a bit hard when he's taught you everything you know about character design.

And sci fi sketches for some job related stuff:

Generic Space Marine guy. Shoulder decal look familliar to anyone?

More mechs. Yes I know.

My Iron Mans: Let me show you them

So yeah I obviously really LOVED this movie, so I decided to do some artwork. Did this in photoshop and was going for a more realistic look (but not too realistic lest it became a mess of reflections)

I've been focusing on tuning my character designs lately. Doing a lot of cafe drawing too, will post those up later.

Mecha WIP

It's been a LONG time since I posted, but I'm moving the blog soon so I'll save most of the updates til then.

Anyways, I'm starting to get the hang of Maya. This is a work in progress of a gundam I designed. I haven't learned how to rig yet, so this is just a complicated model that can't move, heh. The plan is to build a frame for it and then attach armor pieces and equipment.
